People. Strategy. Research.

People. Strategy. Research. People. Strategy. Research. People. Strategy. Research.

Dear Potential Future Employer,

If you are reading this, I know you are asking "why her" and here is why....

It is certain that I don't meet every qualification for the job you are looking to fill. I believe that experience on a resume only shows how far a person has come professionally, not how far a person has come personally or how far they can go. Growth happens when you push yourself to do things you are not qualified for and I have been practicing for this my entire life.

If you read my "about me" section, you know I came from foster care. From a child, I have been an outsider residing outside of a family unit. I bring that up because as humans, we are hardwired to seek the approval of those around us. However, due to my childhood, I have the privilege to explore life on my terms and the freedom to pursue my ideas without feeling the pressure to conform. It is known that transformative thought goes nowhere without the ability to challenge convention. This means to be innovative we need people willing to take risks. After all, aren't companies built on taking risks?

I am looking towards you to take a chance even though I don't tick every box and here is a few ways the organization will benefit:

Gratefulness: I have gained so much from life's struggles and I am grateful for opportunities and don't take them for granted. This gratitude will inspire the organizational culture in a positive manner.

Reaching goals: I am good at taking calculated risks therefore, I can help teams meet ambitious goals together. When working towards a goal, you are likely to fail often, I have the grit to rise.

Innovation: I have a rich imagination and I know what it is like to rise with little support and limited resources. With an entrepreneurial spirit, I rally around being a creative strategist for positive and meaningful changes.

Leadership: My leadership style is to be an inspirational leader and to lead by action. I am passionate about motivating others to become the best version of themselves. whatever that looks like to them. I am living my dream life as an explorer of the world, that passion is infectious.

I genuinely appreciate your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Sherese Bishop

I am convinced that nothing we do is more important than hiring and developing people. At the end of the day you bet on people, not on strategies .

Interview Questions

I would suggest you start with the 'My Story' section as this will give you a good insight into who I am. Beyond that, my tagline of 'People. Strategy. Research.' has so much meaning.

People: I am an extrovert that believes that people are the center of everything important.

Strategy: is something I am passionate about as it allows you to evaluate where your efforts and resources are best spent. This is important for a sustainable future. Anyone that knows me would tell you efficiency and making the most out of something is the core of my life and that reflects in my work strategies.

Research: My analytical brain has research and supporting evidence as the pathway to success. It is the means to find, gauge, and seize opportunities.
